An adorable (but steamy!) romance featuring a new Navy officer on Okinawa and the beautiful man he meets on a hike...who turns out to be the son of one of his superiors. While this is the second book in the series and I have not read the first, I wasn't bothered by the off-screen events that were obviously occurring in Conduct Unbecoming, the first in the series (which I will try to get to soon). It was nice to see a story in which the military man's sexual orientation, while significant, was not a central conflict.
