Throughout the Warren Commission Report, you won't find any mention of this, but if you examine the box of materials affiliated with that report, you'll come across the name, Pfc. Eugene B. Dinkin? Huh? Mr. Dinkin, a great American hero, unknown, as most usually are, was in the Army's crypto section at Metz, France back in 1963. He came across a transmitted cable, which he decoded, between the CIA's section head in Rome, Italy [Bill Harvey] and a rightwing fascist paramilitary organization in France, the OAS. It was setting a date to assassinate the president [11/22 to 11/28]. He tried to pass this on, with no effect, so went AWOL to Switzerland to attempt to get various UN organizations, et cetera, to pay attention, but unfortunately he failed, and was picked up by the Army and incarcerated at the hospital stateside and given violent electro-shock treatments and schizophrenia-inducing drugs until he finally changed his story admitted he had imagined it all, repeating the story the Army psychs fed him! Eugene B. Dinkin would later sue the government in 1975. Try to find out about it if you can? This isn't in this book, but the other stuff is equally as great, enlightening and stomach-turning!
