Beverly Lewis is one of my favorite authors and recently I’ve been on a mission to read all of her books.
By reading the back of the book and learning that the story is about an Amish widow and a non-Amish I was immediately intrigued.
While reading the book I was a little hesitant about continuing it due to the plot about “white” magic, since I don’t believe in white magic being good since all magic does not come from God, but I continued reading just to finish the book and see where it was going and I have to say, I like how it doesn’t condone it and considers it evil (which it is) and also how the book included multiple people rejecting it and choosing to stand with God.
Overall I liked the book! It’s not my favorite from Beverly but I liked it.
Now I’m going to read the next book in the series and I’m curious about what’s going to happen next.
