Snow will never be called a beautiful book, with it's quirky illustrations - which I happen to love - but it is a story of hope and wonder, which makes it charming.

The counterpoint of the exuberant boy with the stuffy stiff towns people is wonderful.

My two-year-old daughter loves the story and the illustrations. She`ll find the snowflakes and identify the characters.
