I don't like short stories as much as novels but this is a reasonably good effort by Archer and quite entertaining.

The writing is as good as ever, but the plots are not, presumably because the stories are based on true experiences of people the author met while in prison, and you can only dress up the truth so far in the name of entertainment. But if you need a Jeffrey Archer fix and have read all his other works, this one will still do the trick.
