Good, fun read.
Ms. Andrews maintains the tempo throughout. Not a single page bores. Good, simplistic setting, filled mostly with relatable, likeable characters. I read during my daily commute to work and this is a perfect book for that. It makes you look forward to the next day commute but at the same time, simple enough to not make you think of the plot at work or at home. On to next Meg Langslow series from Ms. Andrews!!!
As usual,Ms. Andrews has a hit. If you enjoy quirky characters and amusement with your murder and mayhem, read this book and the whole series as well.
Terrific Mystery Cozy. The characters are fun and conversation flows easily. Looking forward to her next book.
Not as good as others in this series. If this is your first Meg Langslow mystery, don't read it yet. Go back and read in chronological order. You'll appreciate the interrelationships better if you get the history. There are a LOT of people and convoluted family relationships. If you don't mind confusion, this is a light and enjoyable read.
I enjoy reading about Meg and her crazy family. This book doesn't include as much of the family, but she still hears all the gossip, gets into trouble and identifies the culprit. The book will make a lot more sense if you've read part of the series before, but I think it will be OK as a stand-alone or introduction to the Lanslow family and Caerphilly.
Didn't hold my interest, didn't like the main character. Won't be reading any more of this series.
Very good story but not as funny as she usually is.
