This story was not bad for the third instalment in the 'Song of Acadia' series.
First let me say that this was not a love story so I dont understand why it is misfiled in the romance category.
I enjoyed being transferred back to the time when ladies were real ladies and when men genuinely respected ladies. I always appreciate that in a book. I found that I understood the plight of the main character'rs restlessness but i just could not relate to her as well as I would have hoped, thus i started to dislike the position she took. Imagine having the opportunity to become an heir of a very rich man and having everything at your finger tips but not embracing the idea. The book pointed out that we were all created for a purpose and we will not find fulfilment unless we accomplish this purpose even if it is against the ideal of others.
