Captain John H. Moyer was awarded the Bronze Star from Brigadier General Glenn J. Collins, of the commandant of the Medical Field Service School, in Ft. Sam Houston, Texas on October 26, 1966. Captain Moyer received the medal for outstanding meritorious service in combat operations in Vietnam. He entered the Army in 1956. He is a resident of Columbus, Ohio having graduated from The Ohio State University in 1963 with a D.D.S. degree.
