This was absolutely fascinating, and very interesting compared to the many ways people only think of "bad" diseases. Fully enjoyed.

I absolutely loved this book. It offers a very interesting look on how the diseases that plague us today actually helped to keep us alive in the past. You don't need to have any advanced knowledge in biology to understand it, though I discovered that my biology class in high school really helped me to make connections with certain functions and draw further knowledge from it.

A word of warning, it does tend to jump around a bit, but I found that after awhile it allowed for more understanding and connections. Overall, a fantastic book that is fairly easy to understand!
