I was excited to read this book to get Sylvia's ideas on what Jesus did during the years not covered in the Bible. What I didn't expect was for her to discredit major Christian beliefs such as the virgin birth, the manger scene, the death and the resurrection, and to say that Jesus was married and went off to France to live with Mary Magdalene and his children. She presents the ideas in a convincing manner. I'm just not sure I should accept all of her beliefs without looking into other sources too. Be prepared to have your whole belief system shaken. If you liked the Davinci Code you'll probably like this book. If you were upset by the ideas in the Davinci Code I recommend not reading this book.
