This is a wonderful book. The author effectively toggles between descriptions of her husband's medical treatments and therapies and memories of their life together, beginning with when they first met. I admire the author's honesty, fierce courage, and vulnerability.
I deeply empathized with the author because my husband of 47 years died of cancer in 2015, sixteen months after his diagnosis. I, too, have struggled to figure out who I am after being his caregiver and now being without my soul mate. I learned a lot from the author's courage and wisdom.
Thoughtful and compelling read but repetitive.
Couldn't put it down, sat up half the night wanting to know what happened next- Super descriptive, draws you in-
Never do find out who either of them are, truly, but you might be inclined to wonder -- instead of judge ..
