I think this was a very good read. At first I thought everyone was unfair to Clio by not telling her the reason for the boat trip and especially the way her dad was treating her and she felt like she was sheltered in and that got me kind of confused and annoyed. But towards the end I came to like it more. Especially the part where Aiden confessed to her how he felt. It was heartwarming :) I personally really liked Clio's character and the way she really made me laugh throughout the whole book:) Overall I really liked this book <3

This novel was a lot of fun. Clio is very much a typical teenager in that she has some whiny and petty moments, but in the context of the novel, they're totally understandable. While Clio's relationship with her father is a big part of the novel, there's also the fun of Clio's attempts at romance and the mystery of why the group is out on the boat in the first place. With a dash of historical fiction tossed in throughout, the book is a great summer read and enjoyable throughout.

This was a cute, light read, and it definitely made me miss summer! The storyline started out pretty lacking, but it did get better towards the end. I was really confused throughout the entire book, but the ending wrapped up most of the loose ends. I probably wouldn't have cared much for this book at all if it weren't such an original idea, so points for the author on that one. Overall, I think this book was okay, but someone younger than me would probably enjoy it a lot more.

This book was predictable, but it was still an enjoyable "light" read.

Actually very good. Clio was in a sort of desparate, slightly sheltered from info situation on that boat. I don't know why she would bother calling Ollie but that's her not me. Aiden's confession to her when she was in his room was priceless and heartwarming. That was my fav part of the book. Would recommend. She's a great author. :)

A really cute story, and perfect for a summer read, even if the storyline is a little weak.

This is a really good book. Fast read. Love Maureen Johnson. It's full of action and romance. As usual, Johnson has great humor and it's a great read. I totally recommended.

"The reason I don't is right in front of me," he said. "I like the girl who is on my bed, right now, and who has appeared to hate me from the minute she first saw me. I disgust her so much that she makes up boyfriends to guard against me. She Physically Runs Away when I'm supposed to dance with her."
