Rachel Evans memoir gave me a fresh perspective on my own journey toward Christ. She manages to bring humor to a subject that can divide nations and families.

Very nicely written. With a touch of humour, the book doesn't stray into the overly preachy type of book. It has facts and opinions, and a very interesting take on how a year of being a biblical woman is. I was moved by a few chapters, and it made me question and think. Which is very nice and refreshing. Very nice book. Don't read unless you are Christian, or at least open to religion and this experiment. I liked it. But it may not be for everyone.

I enjoyed this book - quite amusing at times. I learned all sorts of things about women from the Bible - some were women I had barely heard of despite a lot of Bible study in my formative years. It was well researched, & I found it interesting to learn how different faiths interpret the various biblical instructions to women.

Funny, insightful, inspiring and very well written. A great read regardless of the reader's gender that will both challenge your preconceptions and confirm your humanity.
