Another good entry in the Harry Bosch series as he searches for answers in a cold case of a missing child whose bones turn up on a California hillside. The mysteries in the Bosch books are rarely as twisty as some of the other books I tend to read, but I just find that Harry himself is a good enough draw to keep me coming back.

I have read several of Connelly's "Bosch" books, which have all been very good, but this one is the best so far. Highly recommended.

This is the first Michael Connelly book I have read. It is an engaging easy read, interesting characters and story line.

A melancholy non-dramatic police story that focused more on police procedures and politics that finally drove a veteran cop to retirement.

Detective Bosch is called to investigate a case where a dog finds a human bone that belongs to a child killed many years ago. Really like the detective's unflagging drive to solve this difficult case. There's a little romance too, but it ends in tragedy. A page-turner.
