Opinion

From Library Staff

Animal cognition research demonstrates that animals think, feel, remember, and plan ahead. Even the "lower" animals demonstrate characteristics once thought to be unique to humans, like self-awareness and personality.

Incredibly informative, captivating and interesting book. The parallels that are drawn between humans and animals are present form the cover page ("the thoughts and emotions of our FELLOW CREATURES"), and continue throughout the book. I leanred a lot from "Animal Wise".
