The author shares case studies of people who have recovered from setbacks and gone on to be successful in various fields, then analyzes some of the characteristics necessary to do so. It gets a little tedious in parts and some of his observations seem very obvious, but overall a nice look at psychological resilience.

Enjoyed the stories of how people have rebounded from adversity. However, the author's attempt at trying to classify the characteristics of what comprises a rebounder felt like it was reaching. Every rebounder found their own individual path forward.
