She knows she needs to slow down before she burns out completely, and the best place she can think to do that is Sullivan's Crossing. Named for Maggie's great-grandfather, the land and charming general store at the crossroads of the Colorado and the Continental Divide Trails have been passed down through the generations and now belong to Maggie's eccentric father, Sully. But shortly after arriving, Maggie's world is rocked once again and she must take on more responsibility than she'd planned. Though she's relieved a quiet and serious-looking hiker, Cal Jones, is willing to lend a hand, Maggie is suspicious of this mysterious man's eagerness to help?until she finds out the true reason for his deliberate isolation. A romance story based in the Colorado mountains near Leadville. Maggie and Cal meet at the charming general store at the crossroads of the Colorado and the Continental Divide Trails. Cal and Maggie are both struggling with a major loss in their lives.

"What We Find" The first novel in the Sullivan’s Crossing series by Robyn Carr The second book is" Any Day Now".
"What we Find" takes us to a rural area in the rolling countryside at a campsite between Denver and Colorado Springs . They cater to the many people walking the Continental Divide, providing camp grounds and cabins. An address to mail boxes of supplies. Owned by a man called Sully. This is a romance both light and serious at times. I did enjoy it.

I really liked this novel. It was entertaining on many levels and the cast of characters was wide and varied. (Enough variety in the story to keep almost anyone interested , if a Summer distraction was what the 'doctor ordered'). Clearly written with a cracking pace and a comfortable use of language. Good for a few hours lyin' on a lawnchair in the shade :-)

I enjoyed this book. It wasn't a "page turner" or "can't wait to get back to it" type of book, but it was pleasurable reading. I was interested to see it's the beginning of a series. I'll be sure to watch for them!

What an inspiring book. The characters come alive and bring you to where they are. Couldn't put down.
