Yawn. A friend recommended this & I don't know how to confess this book was not my cup of spiritual tea. This is probably a good book if you're in 12 step recovery & hate formal religion which is half of Portland, while the other half is stoned these days. Anyway it was odd to see one person who "developed spirituality from Marxism." Say what?! Most of the Christian authors we're either new age Catholics or desert fathers & mothers who proclaimed to "love sin." A very one sided view of imperfection combined with spirituality...whatever that even means.
