A short read. Not all the informative, but I presume being so young, her understanding of everything that was happening was limited. Worth a read though.

I read this book and it was utterly moving at the end when she said she would forgive those who treated her less then human. Truly an amazing person with a heart of gold. I love studying the Holocaust and learning about what happened and reading Eva Kor's experiences helped me glimpse a little deeper into what happened in those sad years of human history.

“...’Zwillinge! Zwillinge!’ Twins! Twins!...
’Are they twins?’ (The SS guard) asked Mama.
She hesitated. ‘Is that good?’
‘Yes,’ said the guard.
‘They are twins,’ replied Mama.
Without one word, he grabbed Miriam and me, tearing us away from Mama.”
