Alice Miller cuts through all the hocus pocus complexity confused therapist project, in other words, she keeps it simple though the journey into semi or total madness is anything but simple. For those who grew up tormented and without the love of someone as a baby or child, the chance of completeness is not possible, however, it also isn't necessary. The human spirit is dynamic like nothing else in the world, it can emerge from hell and build paradise and live happily 'til the end. How? No drugs, suffer the pain of reality, remember, and never forgive one's tormenters, be it mother, father, brother, sister, teacher, lest said tormenters change and admit their cruelties and make amends with true love. Love, however, cannot be earned, it must be real and it must be true.
