Warning: this book is written in present tense. I made it through three pages and gave up. I have huge issues with anything longer than a very short story written in present tense, and there's no way I'm slogging through an entire book.

I have to agree with AKKI and Jocy's reviews of this book. The premise is intriguing, but the execution is muddled and clumsy. There is so much going on (multiple points of view, multiple myths and theologies, even multiple planes of existence), it feels like the writer is simultaneously telling you too much and yet, not enough.

Great concept... But I could not sit through it.

And I do NOT think that Vampires are fallen angels of desire OR that they hookup with all and sundry.

The plot is somewhat interesting. The writing is on the poetic side and difficult to understand at times. The story takes off around page 220 and by the end it accelerate rapidly and leaves you empty with many questions you want to ask the author. It's as if the ending was rushed and some vital information about the connection of the characters has been overlooked.
