Interesting content, especially for scientist-types with an interest in the mathematics and statistics of financial analysis. It's not a "how to" book about managing your own financial investments; and it isn't about the details of the mathematics involved -- you don't need to understand advanced math to understand the text. Instead, it's a concise history of how the idea of a Hedge Fund came about. The narrative starts in the 1960's about a mathematics professor who used early computers to discover mathematical methods to beat the casino games of Blackjack and Roulette. While the book version is a worthwhile read, I can't recommend the audio book version of this title. The problem is the narrator. He reads all the words, but doesn't seem to understand the importance of what he's saying. It comes across as monotone and boring. Except for perhaps the first couple of audio CD's where the Blackjack and Roulette methods are discussed, not recommended in audio book format. Read the actual book instead.
