Author jack du brul latest book is a dull, laughable blend of unrealistic science and juvenile charachters aimed at poorly educated or simple, gullible weak-minded people who do not question. du Brul ignores many key facts about climate science (vs du brul opinions) like several massve ice shelves disappearing in recent years. Instead readers are subjected to du brul flawed thinking that also goes out of its way to hate monger against people who enviroment & nature species protection. maybe he should stop living in a cave and take a few nature tours, epecially to reclaimed & protected areas. du Brul needs to learn more about issues before writing propaganda books that espouse only his narrow views as being the only truth. Sadly 1 star is the minimum for this zero star attempt at a book.

It was a cheesy and fun ride. Not great, not terrible, just aggressively mediocre. I can't fault the action scenes, but no amount of action will save a book from switching tenses in the middle of a paragraph. -0.5 of a star for that recurring grammatical issue.
If anyone is concerned about climate change part of the plot...I wouldn't be worried. It's an action novel. Not a political treatise. (On a personal note, after years of scientists being frantic, anxious, urging the powers that be to do something before it's too late, and being a nuisance in general, I don't mind at all someone take the other side. )

The author is clearly a babbling climate change denier. His logic and examples are so contrived and silly that you want to laugh. Skipping over that nonsense, this is still a book that was a good read. I'd never purchase this, though.
