Sentient turtle wizard needed an engineer to combat evil who got new ideas. Unfortunately he got a sanitation engineer (Janitor) instead of combat engineer. D'oh!
Still I loved fish out of water university student forced to be an apprentice using a magical instrument aka duar & get stumble along with sentient animals story or that it's tweaked the classic D&D tropes.
This is book #1 out of #8 in Spellsinger series.
