One of my favourites. I really enjoyed this book. An excellent choice for those people who enjoy space and fantasy. A great story about a troop of performers who travel around bringing light and color to the universe, giving a place for those who feel like they don't belong.

This novel about the thrills of the circus gives it the added twist of a big top in space. With gleeful yet controlled anarchy, the Ringmaster takes his crew tooling around the universe spreading fun, joy and laughter with their unusual acts featuring aliens from across the galaxies. Could there be something more sinister going on behind the scenes, though? The novel keeps you guessing and the thrill is just part of the excitement. Beatrix Ling’s struggle to find her place among a ragtag crew of performers provides for a fantastic reading adventure. Even when she messes up, you find yourself rooting for her to succeed and to learn what purpose she serves. As with any trek of discovery, the answers lie not at the journey’s end but in the trip itself. So run away and join the circus!
