Broaddus describes her recovery from a random act of violence. After a jar of acid was dropped on her car from an overpass, she sustained severe burns to her body. Her story speaks to the resileince of the spirit, and the act of forgiveness. As a result of this violent act, numerous random acts of kindness followed. Anyone who has sustained similiar injuries, or is a care-giver to someone who has undergone such a life-altering expereince would benefit in reading how she processed the event, and how she drew upon her inner strength to cope.
