This is a fun little collection of texas short stories. I have read none of the other noir in this series, and picked this one up because I know the state, and some of the small towns that are visited.

Noir is trendy, and perhaps overdone, but appealing, none-the-less. I assume that there is just enough regional appeal to pick up readers in the collection (Vegas, D.C, Manhattan, and many others). If Texas does not appeal, then choose another book in the series. Well done.
