Right off the bat I would like to say this is an "ok" book. The reason why it is branded as "ok" is because the book had a rather slow and shaky start (It gets better as the story goes on!) that makes the story seem rather bland. As I said the story gets better as it continues bringing a suspenseful comedy. But be warned that throughout there are many plot holes in the story... But overall this is a wild and crazy ride! Is it worth reading?... Well if you like comedies and mystery of course you should read it but if you would want an overall steady and sound story I would say this is a pass. 2/5 Rating

Was pleasantly surprised with the story - not going to win any awards but if you like Stuart Woods - you will enjoy this!

Stuart Woods has written an 111 Chapter Page-turner which is action packed and also amusing. If a murder, kidnapping, and drug bust are not enough for you, still keep reading. The characters are very well sketched out and if you are disappointed that there is not enough courtroom drama, well the title did say, "Barely Legal!" A light read that you may not be able to put down.

Stuart Woods is now so lazy that he openly insults his readers with this really lame plot. Herbie Fisher is his most weak character and in this story Herbie reverts to the Fool he was when first introduced by Woods. Woods is certainly no Hemingway or Steinbeck but up to now his silly novels have been entertaining. Now this book is so absurd that I quit it after 100 pages and will probably never read his novels again.
