The Publishers Weekly review is right on target, so I'd just like to add a few comments. First, the subtitle is misleading; understand from the beginning that this book is NOT primarily about SNL. Second, be prepared for frequent time shifts; Davis recounts his memories in no logical order. Third and finally: those caveats nothwithstanding, I thoroughly enjoyed this sometimes-serious, often-hilarious romp down Davis' Memory Lane.

Other: Drug use...LOTS of drug use. Not glorified or condoned...just treated matter-of-factly as befits an honest recount of the day.
