Chaperone: Ray Bradstone has just been released from prison after serving time for driving the getaway car in an attempted bank heist. Completely rehabilitated, Ray cares only about winning back the respect and love of his 15-year-old daughter, Sally. His first opportunity to do so comes when he's asked to be a chaperone on a weekend school trip to New Orleans with Sally's class. However, when characters from Ray's criminal past believe he stole the loot from a bank they robbed, Ray will do whatever it takes to fend them off and keep his daughter and her class out of harm's way.
Bending the rules: Theo Gold, the New Orleans assistant district attorney, is about to have the worst day of his life. Not only does his wife decide to leave him on the eve of his birthday, but he manages to lose a high profile case against Harry Blades, an eccentric yet hard-nosed detective on trial for corruption. Now the only thing Theo has left is the car his father entrusted to him: a 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk. But when he discovers his father's pride and joy has been stolen, Theo realizes that the only ally he has within the police department is the same person he tried to put away.
Knucklehead: When 35-year-old Walter Krunk accidentally destroys the kitchen of the orphanage where he grew up, he has ten days to raise enough money to save the orphanage from closing. Meanwhile, fighter manager Eddie Sullivan is in serious debt to Memphis Earl. Walter and Eddie join forces with orphanage worker Mary O'Conner and together they conquer the world of amateur wrestling with one goal in mind: the winner-take-all tournament in New Orleans and the $100,000 prize that goes along with it.
