I too saw the movie before reading the book. I loved them both. Such a heartwarming story of resilience, love and perseverance. One of the best books read this year.

I saw the movie first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Reading the book afterwards did not ruin it for me. The book was so well written and it was a quick read but very enjoyable. This man had an amazing journey. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great book to read.

This book was amazing. The prologue moved me to tears, and I was hooked. I can easily say it's one of my favorites.

Great book. Kept me engaged from start to finish. Often autobiographies will have parts that are dull and I skim over but not Lion. Enjoyed all of it.

Truly an enjoyable read, I was intrigued by the dual cultural descriptions to the point i felt i was there in India!

This was a great book, definitely a quick read, and a truly inspiring story! The only issue I had, was near the end there was a portion of the book that was cumbersome with the names of the cities and towns where Saroo was searching, it almost becomes a "skip over" part. But a fabulous story!

I just finished reading the book "Lion" after viewing the movie first and recommend both of them. Totally amazing.

Interesting story. I think the shining stars in this story are the women who shaped his life, resulting in an incredibly fortunate outcome. A reminder that sometimes the simplest, smallest decisions can change our lives in profound ways.
