Winston: 'Course you will.
I can assure you that the stories you hear about this man, if nothing else,
has been watered down.

That's why I need the ghost, lo Spettro (Italian for the Ghost), John Wick.

Two rules that cannot be broken, Jonathan. No blood on continental grounds, and every marker must be honored.

You stabbed the devil in the back and forced him back into the life that he had just left. You incinerated the priest's temple. Burned it to the ground. Now he's free of the marker, what do you think he'll do?

He was already back.
-Oh, he came back for love, not for you.

Oh, and remember, you owe me.
-You don't want me owing you.

Add a CommentGreat movie. More action than the first one.
The movie starts with an awesome action scene. And the pace continues throughout!
Thought the original was a little bit better, but I enjoyed this one
Other than the fact that the entire plot was not believable and that no human could endure the injuries and kill as many people as he did, I kinda enjoyed the movie. Complete fiction, but in adventure movies that is not uncommon.
John Wick was very well done, John Wick Chapter 2 not. It is bad when the people creating the movie say they are surprised the John Wick character was a success. This character had the opportunity to challenge the James Bond movies but it fell flat on the script second time out. Too bad as I loved the first one.
John Wick was an exhilarating ride but introduced some heart in the form of Reeves' tragic motive. Chapter Two will continue the action but loses the heart. Fun for those that enjoyed the first one or any of the Taken films.
Something vaguely about revenge, secret society rules and a smorgasbord of "oh this would be a cool scene too". This must have been written by someone who plays paintball too much and has no idea what bullets actually do to a body. You'll lose count of the head shots and body flips.
About what you would expect and as long as your expectations aren't too high, it's okay. Plot is kind of thin, just a lot of shooting and fighting.
John is like a super human being never seriously injured even when hit by a car.
Poor plot.
The exploding head shots gets very repetitive and gross after a while. I really like the idea of the Continental and the way it finished but they need to cut back a bit on the exploding blood packs.
It's a Friday night movie so just check your brain at the door and sit back for a pretty wild ride of bullets, brains and gore. The Continental however, is a pretty cool idea and who doesn't love Ian McShane?
