You might want to skip the introduction page, depending on the sensitivity of your children, as it deals with mosquitos spreading disease and being the number one killers of humans (it doesn't mention that this is geographically dependent). Other than that, this is a great book for encouraging children to respect bugs and celebrate their role in our world. It mentions the environmental impact of pesticides affecting bees and butterflies several times.
