This is a nearly complete update of Fisher's standard-setting work on human sexuality, originally published in 1992. Fisher's thesis - that we evolved to monogamously pair bond *and* cheat to gain maximum advantage for our genes - is presented in clear, engaging and often funny language. Much of the research she's reporting on is her own, although she does a thorough lit review as well.

Although admittedly quite hetero/cis-centric, Anatomy of Love remains a fun and informative read for any anthro geeks out there interested in sexuality. It has strong appeal for previous popular works in the field like *Sex at Dawn*.
