An album that treads the line between hard rock and metal, with a little bit of prog thrown in to taste. Accompanied by Baizley's howling vocals, this album plays towards your expectations as well as pleasantly subverting them just when you're least expecting it, with odd meter passages and searing guitar interludes. The opening three tracks are a 1-2-3 punch of catchiness and power. Would highly recommend this album for a listener wanting to engage in something more complex than standard radio rock and isn't sure where to start.

Hard Rock / Metal?
Not a big fan of Metal, but this just seems like mediocre hard rock to me. got a guy who can shout/growl like Pantera with a lead guitar borrowed from Boston. the songs are all uniformly unimpressive_ no standouts like: Judas Priest's "Another Thing Coming" or Ministry with "Jesus Built my Hot-Rod"; MotorHead And "Ace of Spades". Even the soft ballad is no comparison to Metallica's "Enter Sandman"
I confess: I was drawn to this album by the tits on the cover (almost ALWAYS a bad sign) and by the fact that my record store had filed it under electronic. You want GOOD Metal/ Go back and listen to Zeppelin or Cream or Hendrix.
