I LOVED it. It was so different from all the other Peter Pan movies. The dude who played Hook tried to do an impression of a young Harrison Ford. pretty entertaining.
Peter is a young boy who lives at a dreary London orphanage. He and his friend Nibs begin attempting to investigate the mysterious disappearances of boys at night, when suddenly he, with many other orphans, are kidnapped by pirates in the middle of the night! They are taken to a place called Neverland to work as miners for a pirate named Blackbeard. After several incidents, Peter finds out that he is the son of a fairy and warrior, and a prophesied savior of fairies! He is thrown into an adventure of a lifetime... one that will pave the way for his worldwide fame as Peter Pan.
Frightening or Intense Scenes: Tiger Lily shows Peter memories, which show Blackbeard and the other pirates in battle as dark cloud-like shapeless figures with glowing red eyes that may scare younger viewers. Also creepy looking "Never-Birds", which basically look like bug-eyed bird-shaped skeletons with a couple giant feathers stuck on.
