An oldie, and a kids movie. Was good to see the actors in their youth.

We both liked it and glade that we took the time to watch. A very nice move that was well acted and brought back some old memories.

Stand by Me is a great coming-of-age and summer movie. It takes place over Labor Day weekend. The screenplay was adapted from Stephen King's novella The Body, which is included in Different Seasons. I especially enjoy River Phoenix's performance. Stand by Me is rated R.

I have watched STAND BY ME several times in my life, and will undoubtedly check in several more times. There is nothing about this film I would change. Poignant, funny, insightful, a classic. Shared moments of friends at one of the many crossroads in life.

I finally found a movie based on a book that I liked! As always, it's not quite like the story (Different Seasons by Stephen King)--but each is outstanding in their own right. If you enjoy coming of age tales, you'll like this movie. While watching see if you can spot Jerry O'Connell; I bet you can't. :)

I was first introduced to this movie in high school. I instantly fell in love with the movie. It is a must to watch this movie. It's an incredible story of a group of friends who are loyal and go to an adventure to find a dead body.

I saw this movie a couple of times in high school. About four kids going on an adventure looking for a dead body. This movie was excellent one of the best groundbreaking movies of all time and it also made Wil Wheaton, Jerry O'Connell, Corey Feldman, and River Phoenix the best actors that they are today and I also think Rob Reiner directed this movie.

Great movie. Great acting. Great cast. One of the best movies I've seen that was made from a Stephen King book.
