I plowed right through this book! It was easy to read, understand, and apply. As a homeschooling parent and a person who is just interested in health and nutrition, I read this to gain insights about the foods we eat and ways to exercise with my kids. There are many excellent exercise ideas, lists of foods, and ways to encourage your children to grow into healthy people. The book does seem to be geared a little more toward families with obesity issues, but the theories are applicable to all regardless of weight or size.
