I enjoyed this story because of the history portion but I also enjoyed getting to know his son. I hope Miss Mary and Ian are brought back in a later story.

I like this author, I like his books. I really did not like this one at all. I agree with Rotten Mutts, flat is being kind. I want Romanov Prophecy kind of books. Lets hope he gets better.
I have enjoyed Berry's work but this fell so flat, I barely made it through. Soap opera with very uninteresting plot and two boys we don't care about and a navel gazing Malone is not appealing.
